Function
Role Purpose
To provide expert nursing care and clinical guidance, ensuring advanced standards of practice in specialized clinical areas. The role involves mentoring, coordinating, and supporting nursing teams to promote best practices and continuous improvement in patient care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized patient care within assigned clinical areas.
- Assess patient needs and coordinate individualized care plans.
- Administers medications safely in accordance with DDI policy.
- Works collaboratively in supporting physicians and multidisciplinary teams during patient care activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping of all nursing interventions.
- Report and escalate patient concerns and emergencies appropriately.
- Supervise and guide nursing teams to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Assist in developing nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated care delivery.
- Work within the limits of own competence and responsibility.
- Ensure availability & cost-effective utilization of supplies & safe operation of equipment.
- Participate and report on departmental audits, performance and quality improvement and related research projects.
- Comply with all occupational health, safety and infection control policies to ensure a safe working environment for patients, staff and visitors.
- Leads department with continuing nursing education and competency training programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Nursing Manager.

Technical / Role-Specific Skills:
- Advanced clinical knowledge in specialty areas.
- Training and mentoring experience.
- Bilingual (Arabic and English) preferred.
Other Comments:
Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 8 years of clinical experience, including 3 years in a senior or specialized nursing role.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises Senior & Registered Nurses and support staff within the assigned specialty.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
Hospital and clinical environments; shift work.
