The main responsibility of the backend developer at Dasman Diabetes Institute is to maintain and develop the electronic health records system (EHR). The ability to work in a team environment, and to receive training and handover is a must. The primary goal of the position is to move the development process in-house.
Responsibilities
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop the interfaces of a Web application.
- Participate in the writing of Selenium automated tests and unit tests.
- Contribute to the elaboration of the software’s architecture.
- Execute tests and validate new features.
- Support, investigate and solve different problems related to production, integrations and deployments.
Required Skills and Expertise:
JavaScript, TypeScript, BackboneJS, REACT, Bootstrap, NodeJS, HTML5, Jest, REST API, and CSS3
- Knowledge in object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge in Model–View–presenter application design paradigm an asset.
- Experience and knowledge of agile methods an asset.
Other Comments:
Educaion: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or DEC in computer science
Experience: 3 - 5 years significant hands-on coding experience.
