Function
Provide user support and customer service on DDI-supported computer applications and platforms. Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action
Responsibilities
- Provide first level of support to DDI users (Internally and Externally)
- Ensure end user satisfaction through the services of the Help Desk team
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone or electronically using the Helpdesk systems
- Log all help desk requests and follow standard help desk procedures
- Troubleshoot and redirect issues to correct resource person for resolving critical or complicated issues
- Identify and escalate situations that require urgent attention
- Keep up to date on changes concerning system application, upgrades etc.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues with appropriate monitoring mechanisms
- Advise user on appropriate action when resolving requests
- Monitoring and supporting IT business/technical services
- Inventory and stock control of hardware and peripherals
- Create manuals and guides to insure an efficient operation
- Any other relevant duties as assigned by the direct supervisor
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Relevant experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment
- Knowledge of relevant call tracking applications
- Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
