Function
Serves as a subject matter expert to all functions and responsibilities within the HR department. The Specialist II assists with implementing the institutional and departmental objectives through processes and procedures and generate reports to aid strategic planning & decision making.
Responsibilities
- Be an expert in HR functions and respond to any related queries from staff and management
- Handling and being responsible for preparing policy, forms, employee handbook, HR SOP along with reviewing, updating with summary change overview, maintaining version control with track sheets
- Assist with HR operations when requested by HR Management including, but not limited to, payroll, compensation and benefits, and organizational development.
- Responsible for keeping track and preparing the department quarter and annual KPI reports, preparing departmental and institutional HR workplan with maintaining updates, HRMIS and dashboard reports, finalizing the reports as per Senior HR Management review
- Managing and responsible for the complete PA process - year-beginning, mid-year, year-end process with final statistical, dashboards and analysis reports, handling the salary increment/promotion/inflation/bonus reports, orientation sessions, documentations and manuals related to this process
- Run the HR orientation workshops for new employees
- Manage the succession planning for the institute including maintaining progress reports, follow up on tailored training programs, maintaining feedback from senior management and updating the process as and when required
- Responsible for managing the employees’ air ticket process - contractual and non-contractual
- Coordinate with the HR management and team to work and implement the culture change framework
- Manage and coordinate with the relevant stakeholders on the departmental/sectoral career progression framework review and implementation
- Running the employee engagement survey starting from designing the survey, managing the response, with all feedback and action plan reports and documents
- Act and support during the internal/external audit process
- Support the HR team with any tasks as and when required by the management
- Maintain confidentiality in dealing with personnel information and people sensitive issues
- Responsible for the DDI’s business leaves and external trainings process, with required dashboards and reports
- Any other duties as assigned by the HR Assistant Manager and HR Manager
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Relevant experience of 6-7 years
- Ability to recognize the value and responsibility of working in a team, actively supports and develops team members, quick to identify and problem solve any issues
- Analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft tools and software
