Function
Drive and implement HR plans and activities. Oversee and track progress of HR programs and initiatives in accordance with organizational objectives
Responsibilities
- Implement the HR work plan in line with the organizational objectives
- Provide guidance to HR staff on daily tasks and procedures
- Review Human Resources policies and procedure to ensure it compliance with Kuwait Labor Law
- Analyze HR processes and procedures to measure time and output. Use results in improving operational efficiency
- Ensure quality in information updated, tracked and reported through HRMS and KPI reports
- Present KPI reports to Executive management and be a focal point for answering any queries or issues
- Collaborate and work with other leadership teams in driving projects that enable DDI in being a globally recognized institution.
- Ensures confidentiality and security in managing company and personnel documents
- Train and mentor staff in personal development in order to take on complex tasks and leadership responsibilities
- Oversee the timely management of administrative procedures including staff residency renewals, work permits, medical licenses, secondment etc.
- Prepare, develop and implement audit compliance procedures for the department. Prepare quarterly audit reports to identify gaps and address issues
- Prepare the yearly manpower planned budget
- Quarter report on budget vs. actual expenses
- Quarter report on leaves
- Track HR budget expenses and review it with the Finance department
- Any other duties as assigned by the HR Manager
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Relevant management experience of 9 years.
- Ability to recognize the value and responsibility of working in a team, actively supports and develops team members, quick to identify and problem solve any issues
- Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions; ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented
