Masters degree in Software Engineering or Sciences

                                                            

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Some or all of the following qualities are expected:

 

a. Demonstrated ability to port software systems across different platforms and to build systems by piping through different software tools.

 

b. Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Perl and C) in Unix/linux environment. Proficiency in database programming (preferably MySQL).

 

c. Proficiency in developing web interfaces for making available software applications online.

 

d. Software development/management preferably in Public Health Data System and/or Bioinformatics.

 

e. Knowledge in Health Information, Lifestyle Informatics, and Bioinformatics (particularly statistical genetics and genomics).

 

f. Experience of participation in multi-disciplinary large-scale Information Systems.

 

Required Skills and Expertise:

Experience in Software development/management preferably in Public Health Data System and/or Bioinformatics.
