PhD or Master degree in Health Informatics, Epidemiology or Statistics.
Responsibilities
Some or all of the following qualities are expected:
(a) Familiarity with applications of artificial intelligence and data mining techniques to analyze health information data.
(b) Familiarity with statistical methods and procedures used in Classical Epidemiology. Ability to extend these methodologies to applications in modern Biomedical Health Informatics.
(c) Familiarity with the data models, vocabulary and standards used in Public Heath Informatics.
(d) Familiarity with developing predictive models and simulations using data on health trends leading to development of risk calculators.
(e) Knowledge of informatics aspects of lifestyle sciences (Nutrition and Physical activity programmes).
(f) Expert knowledge of software development in the area of Health Informatics.
(g) Experience with Health Information Management Systems.
Required Skills and Expertise:
Practical experience of data analysis in the context of Health Information and Epidemiology is required.
