Function
Keep orderly documentation of the volunteers consent forms and laboratory paper records. Maintain of electronic records for the projects’ volunteers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate communications between study volunteers
- Meet with the study volunteers and fill in the consent forms
- Assemble and prepare laboratory supplies under the direction of the supervising personnel
- Conduct experiments and assays and different molecular laboratory techniques
- Operates and calibrates different laboratory equipments
- Reports experimental results to researchers
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of laboratory experiments
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Expertise:
Education
Minimum of 2-year associated degree in life sciences, with nursing education (nurse assistant) being preferable
Experience and qualifications
Minimum of one year experience in health care environment and/or scientific research setting. Knowledge of vital signs measurements and documentation is a must. Phlebotomy experience is a plus.
