Function

Answer and respond to all DDI incoming calls to front desk. Assist callers, patients, visitors by routing or directing them to the appropriate person, department or facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage all incoming front desks calls 

• Assists callers in identifying needs and then routing calls appropriately 

• Keep an up to date contact list of departments, facilities and staff extensions. List to be circulated with appropriate departments when required 

• Track phone calls and submit monthly report of number of calls received, department to which the call was transferred to and nature of calls 

• Greet and guide visitors to front desk to the appropriate departments or offices 

• Provide information of general nature to authorized requestors

• Aware of health and safety regulations and assists patients / guests during evacuation drills or emergency situations 

• Perform other related duties as directed by the manager 

 

Required Skills and Expertise:

·         Excellent communication and customer service skills

·         Basic computer skills 

·         Graduate / diploma holder in any discipline
